Question 1

What does Vanguard Collective actually do?

Accepted Answer

We handle the logistics behind our clients' programs: storing their inventory, tracking what they have, fulfilling and shipping their branded merchandise, and running the load-in and load-out for their indoor and outdoor events.

Question 2

Who do you work with?

Accepted Answer

Our portfolio is built around nonprofit organizations — national foundations, advocacy groups, community health programs, faith and education institutions — along with the brands and sponsors that support their campaigns.

Question 3

Where is your warehouse?

Accepted Answer

Our operations team works from 750 Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, with warehousing and fulfillment space serving the five boroughs and the surrounding metro region.

Question 4

Can you store inventory long term?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clients keep inventory with us between campaigns and draw it down as they need it, whether that is a single carton to a chapter office or a full truck to an event site.

Question 5

How do we know what we have on hand?

Accepted Answer

Every item is received, labeled and scanned into our inventory system. Clients see current counts, low-stock alerts and shipment history, and receive a written reconciliation on a schedule you set.

Question 6

Do you handle event logistics outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Regularly. Charity walks, street festivals and park activations are a core part of our work, including permit-aligned load-in windows, staging, equipment, signage and a weather contingency plan agreed in advance.

Question 7

How quickly can product move?

Accepted Answer

Standard orders leave our floor within one business day of release. Event and emergency freight is scheduled to the hour, with a named coordinator accountable for the window.

Question 8

Do you only move merchandise?

Accepted Answer

No. Merchandise is the most common load, but we also handle collateral, equipment, staging materials, program supplies and donated goods.

Question 9

Do I need previous experience to work here?

Accepted Answer

Not for our entry-level roles. We look for people who are reliable, safety-minded and careful with detail. Every new hire begins with paid training alongside an experienced supervisor.

Question 10

What kind of growth is possible?

Accepted Answer

Every supervisor at Vanguard Collective was promoted from within. You receive a written advancement track on your first day, so the path is clear from the start.

Question 11

Do I need warehouse experience to apply?

Accepted Answer

No. We provide paid training on safe handling, receiving, scanning and our inventory systems, with an experienced associate beside you for your first ninety days.

Question 12

How is pay structured?

Accepted Answer

A weekly base with shift differentials for early load-outs and bonuses tied to accuracy and on-time performance.

Question 13

How soon can I start?

Accepted Answer

A new paid training group begins every other Monday, so most new hires start within two weeks.

Question 14

Is there a path forward from this role?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every supervisor here was promoted internally, and you receive your written advancement standards on day one.

Question 15

What does an inventory coordinator do here?

Accepted Answer

You keep stock accurate for a group of client accounts: receiving verification, cycle counts, low-stock alerts, shipment history and the written reconciliation clients receive on schedule.

Question 16

Is this a desk role or a floor role?

Accepted Answer

Both. You work on the floor with the crew and at a desk producing the counts and reporting clients rely on.

Question 17

When do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Weekly by direct deposit every Friday.

Question 18

What training is provided?

Accepted Answer

Paid training on our inventory systems, reconciliation standards and client reporting, alongside an experienced coordinator.

Question 19

What kind of events will I run?

Accepted Answer

Indoor galas, conferences and donor receptions, plus outdoor charity walks, street festivals, community drives and distribution days across the five boroughs.

Question 20

What experience is most relevant?

Accepted Answer

Event production, hospitality, catering, stagehand or warehouse experience all translate well. We train the logistics process.
